Homeopathic & injection therapies

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a system of complementary medicine in which remedies are selected individually after a detailed consultation. Dr Patel is a registered homeopath as well as an acupuncturist, and can draw on both approaches.

What it involves

  • A detailed case-taking consultation that looks at your symptoms in the context of your whole health, history and temperament.
  • Remedies are selected for you individually. Two people with the same complaint may receive different remedies.
  • Follow-up appointments review how you are getting on and adjust the approach if needed.

Your consultation

  • Expect plenty of questions about the details of your symptoms, what makes them better or worse, sleep, appetite, energy and emotional wellbeing.
  • Bring a list of current medication and supplements.

What to expect

  • Remedies and instructions for taking them, explained clearly.
  • Guidance on when to arrange a follow-up.

Before you book: precautions

Please let Dr Patel know about the following. They do not always rule treatment out, but they help her keep you safe.

  • Homeopathy is not a substitute for urgent or emergency care, or for treatment your doctor has prescribed.
  • Do not stop prescribed medication without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it.
  • Tell Dr Patel if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or buying a remedy for a child.

This information is general. Your suitability for any treatment is assessed individually at your consultation.
