Approach

Two traditions, one individual plan

As both an acupuncturist and a homeopath, Dr Patel can draw on Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques (acupuncture, pestle needle therapy, cupping, moxibustion and tuina) as well as homeopathy and biopuncture. Which of these, if any, are suitable depends on you.

Consultations look at your main concern in the context of your wider health: history, medication, sleep, digestion, stress and lifestyle. You can expect to hear what is proposed, why, and what it involves, and you are always free to ask questions or decline a technique.

Complementary care works alongside your medical care, not instead of it. Keep your doctor informed, and seek medical advice for new, severe or worsening symptoms.

  • Holistic assessment
  • Individualised treatment plan
  • Evidence-informed practice
  • Alongside your medical care
